Narrow aisle lift trucks function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering can reduce battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are usually wire or rail guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
