End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have superior performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to utilize these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machinery are an excellent alternative for applications that require regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
A lot of companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines could arrange finished products on pallets and supplies to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also include a hydraulic setup that enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the forks to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
