Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different types of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming equipments.
In the year 1963, the business started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
